Who I Am
I’m a final-year Information Technology student at Monash University. Throughout my studies, I’ve developed a strong foundation in analysing, designing and building secure systems that meet client needs. I’m now looking to apply these skills in industry and contribute to real-world projects.
Growing up alongside the evolution of technology drew me to towards the IT field. Seeing how it continues to transform everyday life has made me curious about how systems are built and how they can deliver simple, fast, secure experiences.
I'm drawn to IT for its constant growth and focus on continual learning. I'm naturally curious and enjoy challenging myself to learn, re-learn and adapt as I explore new technologies.
My Technical Approach
Developing systems in university and personal projects, I follow the system development life cycle approach with agile principles. What guides my work:
Architecture: I focus on high cohesion and loose coupling at both system and code level:
- Deconstruct systems into decoupled services with clear responsibilities
- Use Docker to isolate and manage services
- Integrate reliable external services via APIs
- Write modular code so components can scale independently or be replaced
- Keep code clean, organised and readable
Agile: I work closely with clients, tutors and team-members to deliver value that aligns with requirements:
- Collaboration: Regular feedback to validate progress and adapt to changing requirements early
- Process: Use SCRUM artefacts (Kanban boards, burndown charts) and stand-up meetings to track progress and blockers
- Iterations: Build in small increments, prioritising essential features while maintaining a clean dev and version control setup (GitLab)
Beyond the Code
Outside of tech, I stay grounded through a few simple routines. The gym is my daily reset - a chance to push myself physically and clear my head after hours in front of a screen. When I want a different kind of challenge, I enjoy hiking and spending time in nature to disconnect and recharge. Some of my favourite trails are Mt Kosciuszko and Sugarloaf Peak.

I also love travelling and experiencing new cultures. I’ve been fortunate to visit Japan, parts of Europe and the UK, where I enjoy exploring local culture, trying new foods and learning about their history. My recent trip to Japan stands out as my favourite - the mix of traditional temples, relaxing onsens and vibrant cities made it a really memorable experience.
